"No idea why I was called in then dismissed"

My gp called me in early before his surgery started and told me I was to be zdmitted to hospital for 3-4 days for tests re suspected lymphoma. I went home and frantically cancelled 2 funerals (I am a priest) which cost me income but far worse caused upset to the families of those whose funerals i was officiating at.

I went to a&e and was kept waiting for over 6 hours before being dismissed and told to wait for a letter planning tests as outpatients. So tests that would have taken days will now take months while my family worry about my future. No apology no explanation.

I felt an idiot and in great pain.
