"I was in ward one and generally ..."

About: Wexham Park Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was in ward one and generally the ward was clean. The care assistants/support workers has issues with division of labour. They dont seen to escalate issues that need the attention of a qualified nurse. They seem to take offence when i asked for a qualified nurse. As part of professional development the support workers need further education in english language. They seem to struggle with instructions and interactions.

What could be improved

Clinical customer service is poor.Clients/patients are not involved in their care.Care plans are not negotiated but rather dictated upon. The environment is not user friendly......not enough bodies on the floor. In the rare case they are they are not well equipped to deal with issues.

Anything else?

At least you saved my life
