Great Dermatology Care!

About: Raigmore Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I have been under the care of Dermatologist Dr Macfarlane and Dermatology Specialist Nurse Julie for the past few months at Raigmore. The care has been second to none. I feel I have been listened to really well with genuine care and compassion.

I am mortified I can't recall the name of the other Dermatology nurse I seen before, during and after my patch test but she was also fantastic and a true caring individual. It's been a particularly difficult year and every time I meet any of the team I feel valued, respected and cared for.

I can't thank them all enough. I still have a long way to go to get my condition under control but I have such confidence and faith in the team due to their positivity and support. We are too quick to whinge about our NHS but I can't fault them. I'm really grateful. Thank you.

I have been in touch with Julie Morton and this is what she had to say:

"How lovely Maimie, that the patient took the time to give us such good feedback. Dr MacFarlane runs a complex clinic on a monthly basis for patients with complex skin / issues /conditions allocating longer consultation times and this gives us extra time to allow for discussion and support that we cant always accommodate at the routine clinics.

Staff Nurse Donna carried out the allergy testing."

I echo Julies sentiment and its always a lovely part of my job being able to share positive feed-back with our hard working and talented staff. I do hope you continue to make progress. Many thanks again
