What could be improved

Today I attended clinic 1, (eye clinic), with my wife at 10:15 for her 10:30 appointment. There were very few others waiting.

At 11:35 I enquired about the delay and we were eventualy seen at 11:45.

At no time did any of the staff explain the delay.

On the wall was the results of paitents comments from 11th March where lack of explaining delays was one of the gripes. Six weeks later nothing has been done to inprove the situation!

Please accept our apologies that you were not kept updated about the delays in the clinic. Your concerns will be highlighted with the Matron so that staff can reminded of the importance of keeping patients abreast with any possible delays that might occur.
