I am writing this in the A&E at Chelsea/Westminster. My girlfriend was sent here by Charing Cross A&E where she waited 2hrs only to be told she had to go to Chelsea to see a specialist. Because it was the weekend, the Trust apparenly only has one OBGYN specialist spread between 3 major hospitals. 3hrs later she is still waiting in an A&E reception in order to see a doctor. This is despite her being in pain and bleeding for over 5hrs.
I will be seeking legal advice for the 3rd World standard of service the Trust is providing.
