"I have a severely disabled daughter ..."

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked I have a severely disabled daughter and have been to the central Manchester hospital on 2 occasions and my daughter was treated with basic care on both occasions she was well looked after on the PICU ward and once on a normal ward care decreased. What could be improved? The way certain people are treated both times my daughter was at this hospital we have had problems and im absolutely disgusted with how my daughter has returned home both times she has been at the hospital if I had a choice I would'nt want her to go there to receive treatment but unfortunately our local childrens ward shut down.Communication could also be improved between nursing staff and community nursing staff whom I was told would be informed once my daughter was back in the community. Anything else? Communication between hospital staff and community staff to do with supplying equipment still waiting 3 weeks later and still no word as to whether communication has been made to authorise equipment to be supplied. So it looks like ive got the job of ringing round again to see if authorisation has been given yet.
