"I was asked to attend the Breast ..."

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was asked to attend the Breast Screening Unit, after an earlier mammogram required further investigation. Beginning with my arrival at reception, all the staff involved were friendly, helpful and carefully explained the procedures that were to be carried out. My partner, who has a disability and cannot walk very far unaided, was also treated in a kind and considerate manner. Many thanks to all who were involved during my outpatients visit.

Anything else?

I really appreciated being properly informed about what was going to take place and any questions I had were answered, without being rushed in any way. As a patient who suffered from a chronic illness for many years, I know how frustrating it can be when people don't take the time to explain things properly.
