What I liked

Nurses were very undrstanding and kind. I was at Millbrook for three weeks. Pharmacy staff who are often forgotten were fantastic. They weren't even open but did my discharge medication straight away so I could go home on time. When I came in to hospital the doctor had missed some of my medication and the pharmacy staff pointed this out, got it added to my chart and made sure it was available very quickly. The ward staff made sure I knew about any changes or desicions made concerning my treatment.

What could be improved

Consultants don't seem to listen to anyone. I understand they are in charge but the nurses know patients better as they spend al the time with them. They have ward round late on friday afternoon meaning if they decide you can go on weekend leave the pharmacy is closed and you have to wait until Saturday morning for medication. Surely they can make it so the descisions are made sooner.

Anything else?

The food was really good and the whole place was clean and tidy.
