I was happy to hear from my consultant, when he told me that I somehow made it through the worst part of my illness, without the need for hospitalisation and the voluntary work that I undertake, he said I was talented.
My CPN gave me a lot of advice during my home treatment: firstly help with sleep and for me personally no TV, nothing stressful just beautiful slow calming classical music. Now I know I can do this, I’m well prepared in case of another relapse, and can also guard against it.
