What I liked
nurses and most of the staff were nice.
Some of the staff saw how distressed I was and asked me if I was ok.
the staff at the phamarcy was wonderful and very helpful as my consultant did not do the prescription right I had to go back and have it changed. They even phoned the duty staff so i would not have a fine as iI only put two hours for the car.
What could be improved
It is very stressful to try to get parked. It took 45 minutes to find a spot.
I had to wait 1 hour to be seen.
When I was seen, I was upset by the lack of compassion and the repetition of mistakes.
I was only prescribed paracetamol after an op two months ago, no sicknote, no discharge letter . I did not even see the consultant.
I got a soory you should have been prescribed strong painkillers!
I left the hospital in such a sad state I am bieng given no hope of getting better ,and because I don't react well to any of the few treatment available was told I would be seen in two months again to see if i need more surgery.
If I chose that extreme solution, it would mean my third operation inless than a year!
I am lucky my condition is very painful, there is no cure but I won't die from it! But, apparently, the next possible op 1 in a thousand patient dies on the operation table.
The consultant was not very pleasant.
Patients are not treated with compassion or respect!
If like me, you ask for explanations for repetitive mistakes , repetitive cancellation of operations you are treated as a diificult patient.
I am just asking for help and a bit of hope that one day I can have one day without being in pain or having to take massive amounts of different painkillers to go through my day and take care of my two kids!
Anything else?
I left with strong painkillers prescribed for only a few dayswhile I normally get many painkillers from my doctor at once as every day I am in pain and that is my only choice if I want to work and look after my kids.
I left very distressed and upset!
