"Really poor communications with test results."

About: Salford Royal / Neurology

Where do I start. I am actually really disappointed with the overall approach I have had front the hospital. Originally I waited over 9 weeks for an mri result, now this was speeded up by the fact I had to keep chasing them from pillar to post.

I rang so many numbers including one person who said they needed to prepare my Medications before getting in touch. Finally results came through as non specific high signal in white matter of the parietal lobe. Then at my next appointment with the Neuro they just dismissed my questions about the mri. Recently had a Lumber puncture and was told 3-4 weeks. Now I'm in my 4th week but I already know I will be waiting another 4 weeks. It's just standard practice at Salford. I think people dismiss you if you are under a certain age or have taken Medication for other issues. By the way I am now medication free.
