"Treatment of miscarriage"

I initially attended A+E with a suspected miscarriage on Wednesday.

I was alone and in significant pain. I went through triage fairly quickly but it took almost an hour after that and lots of requests to get any pain relief. When a member of staff arrived from gynecology things improved significantly.

They offered compassion, pain relief and explained what could happen. I was later transferred to ward 14 and the good care continued. I was afforded privacy and understanding in what was one of my most frightening times of my life. One member of staff even worked beyond their shift to ensure my treatment was complete and I was safe.
