"Maternity care was excellent"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as the patient),

Started experiencing pain in the early stages of pregnancy and got seen in ward 6. The team in ward 6 were great, very reassuring and caring, just wish I remembered their names! I got booked in for an early scan the next day although I did get warned it could take up to 72 hours.

The sonographer who did my scan was lovely, professional and caring (again wish I remembered her name). Luckily all was well and I wanted to send my thanks to them all.

Dear Mumtobe

Congratulations on your pregnancy but what a worrying time for you!

It is great to know that staff helped support and reassure you through this anxious time and that you didn’t have to wait long to be seen. It is fantastic to hear that all is well with you and your baby!

I will pass on your thanks to the staff in ward 6 and the scan department.

I hope the rest of your pregnancy is worry free and that you continue to have good experiences of our service.

With best wishes

Gail
