My husband took my 12 year old son to A&E after he sustained a neck injury while playing rugby today. He was triaged quickly and assessed with thoroughness and skill. Everyone who saw him from the point of triage to the point of discharge was outstanding.
My son was in a lot of pain - this was promptly attended to, and the doctor had him laughing with just the right amount of bleak humour.
He's home now with a clear X-Ray, pain relief, and clear instructions for what to do.
( I am a consultant in another trust and I am so impressed).
Thank you so much to every one who looked after my son.
