"Surgery after care - Great service"

After having an illness for over a year I was recommended to have surgery to make me better. It was the right choice as I am now on the road to recovery, mainly down to the care and attention I was given by the surgical team and all the staff of the PPU and ward 5.

I cannot thank them enough for the care they showed me from arriving at the ward, throughout my stay and recently when I made a social visit to thank them in person. Unfortunately I couldn’t thank all who helped me as they were on their days off.

Also the standard of care was the same from one shift to the next. Each member of the team were helpful and constantly asked me if I needed anything and if I did the usually got it for me very quickly.

If I have to go back into Furness General I will have no worries at all as the standard of care was excellent and I would tell anyone else going in not to worry either.
