whilst on holiday last week my husband suffered a quite serious urology problem, following the local G.P advice we made our way to the walk - in centre in Dover, who said they were unable to treat him, and said we needed to make our way to KCH which was a 50 minute taxi ride, with him in severe pain we were very stressed , especially going to somewhere we didn't know, far from home and expecting to wait hours to be seen. However when he arrived in A/E his details had been phoned through and, he was taken straight through to the urology dept where he was seen immediately, the doctor and nurses were extremely efficient and professional. He was sent home later that day confident that he had received the best possible care. Thank you all so much

I am really sorry to learn that your husband suffered this urology problem while you were on holiday.

I am sure it was very distressing and worrying for you both.

I am sorry that he had such an uncomfortable journey to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital so that he could be treated by the experts there, but glad to hear that he was treated professionally and efficiently and that his details had been forwarded to them so that he could be treated quickly.

I hope that your husband does not have a reoccurrence of this problem in future.
