"X Ray results delay"

Although X Ray procedure went well, why was there a 5 week delay on the result? My physiotherapist had to chase them up after 4 weeks in case of a cancer return.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in reporting the x-ray results.
There have been some reporting issues (caused by a temporary systems failure) across all of Kent just recently and the staff are working extremely hard to catch up with the backlog.
If you still have a problem please will you contact PALS (the Patient Advice and Liaison Service) on either 01227 864314 or 01227 783145 and they will be happy to help you.
If you get the answerphone, please leave a message as they will guarantee to return your call as soon as they can.
