Clinical staff excellent - well considered experienced and first rate with brilliant communication skills. However the IT systems are so poorly joined up, and the processes so in need of improving it's painful to watch. My observation is you need an expert process improvement person with some clinical understanding to spend three months on every ward working along side the staff and improving the process.
