"Breast clinic"

My initial appointment for 11.00am, to my surprise was only 5mis late.

I was sent for a mammogram and ultrasound. There was a bit of a wait, but they are dealing with patients who arrive without an appointment. After these I had to have biopsies taken, which must have delayed people waiting after me.

Could this have been avoided, no.

The parking cost me £5 , but I was on the road to recovery.

When I went for my results my appointment was at 3.00pm, I was seen on time.

The consultant and the nurse broke the bad news with compassion and sensitivity.

I needed another biopsy, again probably holding up the line.

What do people expect, to be on a conveyer belt?

I hope that my ongoing treatment at Calderdale will be as good.

What will happen with radiotherapy I don't know, I understand this will be at Jimmy's.
