I arrived at 8am with a pleasant welcome from nurse on reception.I was seen shortly after by a very polite person who weighed me, took blood pressure and temperature. Few minutes later doctor came and went through operation details followed by anesthetist. A very polite nurse then bought me a gown to change into along with some pre- op painkillers. Shortly after 9 I walked into theatre to be greeted by lots of jolly staff which put me totally at ease. Next thing I was waking in recovery at around 9.50. Within seconds I had a glass of water bought to me then was offered a coffee and toast.Nurse then explained how to look after my hand post op and gave me pain killers to take home. I then went home and was back in my home near Cambridge at 12.15. Fantastic staff and service from time I went in until I left. Thank you everyone
