I was unfortunate to have spend 17 days in a Spainish hospital at the start of the year, having had pneumonia. I managed to get home and got a second bout of pneumonia. My doctor sent me to the acute assessment centre at Queens. I did not know what this would be like but I was left suprised and very pleased. From the time I arrived in th assessment centre I was treated very well and quickly. I was given tests and seen by a doctor within 20 mins. Once assessed I was given a bed within 40 mins. The treatment in that ward were second to none. Once my condition was stablised I was moved to a ward and again the treatment was good. I spent a week in hospital and apart from the care I was given I saw nurses show great care in the treatment of some elderly patients. Thankyou all!
