I have only been in hospital once before as a child, and remembered it wasn't a fantastic experience. I was booked into Wrightington for a full hip replacement on the 26th September 2016, I am a 50 something grumpy bitter in pain frustrated man at this stage, but deep down I was petrified as to what I was to expect whilst I was there. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel relaxed and I was talked through every part of the procedure with my consultant, the op went fine, but due to my personal circumstances I had to go into
Icreased dependancy area for a 4 day un planned stay, the level of support from every single member of staff was. absolutely amazing
I can't thank them enough, nothing was too much trouble, they are a credit to the nhs. When I then got put onto JC ward the experience continued, the staff there were all very friendly and helpful. I am so greatful for the experience, I will be back at some point for my other hip to be done and have no worries in going back, once again many thanks to you all. Regards Scott Taylor ! I
"The best care and service I could ever expect"
