"discharge from cmht services"

The psychiatry consultant discharged me from the cmht back to my GP, the reason being that they will offer DBT, an intensive therapy which I really didn't feel up to, cpns saying I only want to talk to them, and consultant telling me with fewer consultants they can only offer limited appointments. This was the explaination from PALS, the clinic being run by navigo.

This is happening despite me being quite unwell, mentally unstable and vulnerable. A psychiatrist with a second opinion said in Feb this year that I needed most stability in treating consultant and a community psych nurse to offer informal supportive therapy over the long term, and my GP has written last week to request continuing care/ support from the cmht. The consultant did say a referral from my GP could be made later, and I can continue with the meds.

Navigo PALS have assured me this has been discussed a few times among the team.
