"Cosmetic surgery"

About: Nuffield Health, the Grosvenor Hospital, Chester

Recently stayed after surgery, arrived 10am visited by promptly by aneathatist then consultant told me would be having surgery about 1.30/2 so would like me to have some water they came with jug and said would be back in 15mins to take away (was still there 90mins later), I was also asked what I would like to eat following surgery I chose a salad sandwich but requested no spread of any kind from then Not one person came near to see if I was ok eventually went to theatre at 15.40. Back on ward about 6. At 7.45 rang bell and asked for sandwich it arrived with a cup of tea I was so looking forward to it as had not eaten for over 24hours however the sandwich had thick butter on I rang the bell told them I requested no butter to be told the kitchen staff had now gone home "could you not get me some dry bread and I will transfer the sandwich myself " bearing in mind I'd had an opp on both arms so it was uncomfortable however I had to do it . The tray of food was still there at 10.45. The night staff were OK helpful and friendly. The only time I saw anyone was when I rang the bell. The consultant came to see me early following morning and said I could go home just needed to have my tuba grip changed on my arms. I asked the nurse what time I should be able to go home they said by 10. I finally was discharged at 12.15 after having to wait for ever for someone to change my bandage. They make such. Fuss of greeting you on arrival and taking you to the door on leaving it all a farce it just seems there is no customer care they have a cheek to charge for it
