"Excellent care"

I was quite nervous going into hospital to have a hip replacement but I really needn't have worried . From the pre assessment team through to the cleaners everyone was very kind and supportive . In comparison to when I was in this hospital years ago it is absolutely spotless . With the exception of one all the nurses and support staff on John Ray ward were kind patient and caring prepared to help you in whatever way they could . All different nationalities and yet all smiling and cheerful . It would not be a lie to say I actually enjoyed my stay there and quite look forward to my return to have my other hip replaced . My only quibble would be it would be nice to introduce themselves to you when doing the changeover of shifts instead of just coming in and discussing your case as if you were not in the room . This didn't happen every time but more often than not . But all in all a very pleasant stay .
