Gave birth late 2015 at St Thomas'.
I had a complicated pregnancy with high blood pressure and one or two "low movement" episodes. All of the midwives and doctors in the ADU were fantastic and very helpful and reassuring when I attended. My antenatal midwife was wonderful, as were the two consultants that I saw.
I was induced due to said BP and everyone on the antenatal ward was great. I gave birth on labour ward and the two midwives who attended kept me calm and focused through what was a very fast birth.
The night we spent on the postnatal ward was just fine. The midwives pretty much left us to it and I very much appreciated being able to have my wife stay with me and our daughter
THANKYOU everyone at St Thomas'. You're fantastic!
