"Awful care recieved - over dosed by a nurse"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I was admitted into queens 2 weeks ago.

Firstly I was over dosed on insulin by one nurses, which led me to go hypoglyceamic which coulkd have been fatal I had not of woken up at the time I did. Secondly the over night nurses did not give me the required amount of fluids through a drip that the doctor had put in my notes to give me.

Therefore I had to stay in for a second night.

The doctor informed me that they had advised the nurses in my notes that I was to be administered 6 bags of fluid during the night and they only administered 2.

which also made me go back to square one for the reason as to why I was admitted into hospital.

One of the nurses was so rude to me that I had to tell them to stop speaking to me in that tone. I also had to wait 24 hours for a pillow due to a 'shortage'.

I also saw the cleaner clean the bathroom once a day, but not once in the 3 days that I was there did my sheets get changed, there were dirty towels left in the bathroom from the day I arrived to the day that I left and my bedside table was left filthy and not cleaned once in my time there. Would not advise anyone to stay here.

You go into hospital and your life is in someone else's hands and to be treated in this way has put doubt in my mind about any NHS service should I need it in the future.
