I was made feel at ease from the minute I was admitted, the person on reception was very pleasant and helpful. I was shown to my chair to carry out the form filling needed to ensure everything is covered correctly, the nurse was very pleasant and made it very easy. Then the anethatist visited me, followed by the surgeon to finalise the details. Once taken down to theatre I was made feel at ease by the lovely staff who talked me through what was happening. The next I knew I was in recovery with a nurse at my side to see I was comfortable. Once back on the ward I was given a choice of drinks and sandwiches , and looked after very well. Thanks to all the ward and theatre staff and my surgeon.
