My partner had a funny turn.
Waiting times for the NHS were 2 weeks and we were advised to have a brain scan and visit the stroke unit.
Having private medical insurance, we thought we'd take advantage of the opportunity to get him seen quicker. I used the online form to make contact with the hospital to ask which consultants cover this area of medicine and hoped to receive a prompt reply.
2 days later, no response.
I telephoned and did get the information I needed, but I emailed as it was out of hours and hoped that I would get a response first thing in the morning.
Very disappointing really.
Do staff check the forms received from the web?
