"Brilliant"

I had a fantastic experience at Kingston Hospital and wanted to say how brilliant everyone was.

My waters broke and I was induced 36 hours later, my labour took 8 hours and over that time I had three midwives, all three were fantastic.

Unfortunately after 8 hours I had only dialated by 1cm, the midwife was fantastic and listened to me when I said that I had enough and wanted a c-section, the same with the Consultant who came to see me.

Everyone else who were involved in my emergency c-section were brilliant.

The maternity ward was especially busy during my time there but I still felt well looked after and received a fantastic level of care.

Also being able to have my partner stay overnight with me was great and made my first night as a mother a lot less daunting.
