"Parent Education Classes"

About: St Mary's Hospital / Maternity care

I have recently attended the Parent Education Classes held at St Mary's on a Tuesday evening for expectant parents and wanted to say how wonderful they were. I would recommend attending the Birth Workshops and the Breastfeeding classes to anyone expecting their first baby. The midwifes delivering the classes were fantastic, full of knowledge and experience, but most of all very approachable and understanding, meaning that you were never left feeling like there were questions you could not ask. St Mary's should be applauded for providing such a valuable service, and all for free.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your experience in the Parent Education Classes at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you found the Midwives approachable and understanding, enabling you to ask all the questions you wanted. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Lead Midwife Mary Symington and Matron Louise Shaw and the staff involved.
