"Ablation procedure 27.9.16"

I simply cannot fault the attention I received as a day care patient on F2 yesterday. After reading the internet a few days before my procedure I was genuinely terrified and thought seriously of backing out of the whole thing. I was made very comfortable upon arrival and was calmed by the gentle care and concern of the nurses attending to me. I was made aware of the full extent of the procedure and given the name of the consultant who was to perform it. I was taken to the "lab" where this was to be performed and the consultant and staff introduced themselves. All went well without any pain. The aftercare I was given in recovery was exceptional. I was then taken back to F2 who attended to me for over 2 hours. Upon discharge I was given some heart tablets and was told I was to see my consultant in 6 weeks whrn they would discuss with me the options for my heart problem. I am aware I cannot give names or gender in this review but suffice to say everyone who looked after me, from consultant to the person who brought me cups of tea and toast, deserves a great big thank you. F2, the "lab", the nurses, my consultant all deserve a big gold star for their caring and professional ministrations.
