About: St John's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I attended the gynaecology outpatient department for an endometrial biopsy. I was referred after a TVS showed I had a thickening of my endometrial lining. I had no previous knowledge of this procedure & made the mistake of reading women's experiences on line. Terrifying to say the least. The gynaecologist & the nurse were fantastic & very sympathetic and caring. They made the whole experience much easier than I expected. Now just waiting for the results but whatever the outcome I'm happy to put my care in the hands of the gynaecologist and nursing staff. Thank you so much.
