To start the letter referring my son wasn't very helpful. There were no directions where he needed to go, they were very vague. Then he was waiting for 2 and half hours for a consultant to send him for an x_ray. He has to go back there, am very reluctant as the doctor couldn't make up their mind which tooth needed to come out. Then because my son chose to be knocked out for the procedure I have to take him to st Luke's first then onto Bri for operation. I am shocked, disgusted and worried. Should I let these people look after my son. Wish I could afford private

Hello, first of I must apologise for the delay in replying - there has been a problem with the site notifying us when someone posts a review, which we have just become aware of.

I do apologise for the lack of information you needed in the appointment letter, and will be passing this on to the Head of Access; I know they are reviewing the letters so they can be improved, and they will appreciate your feedback.

I am also sorry for the long delay you had waiting for X-ray, this must have been difficult for your son and you. I am sorry you have been so worried and concerned about the standard of care being provided.

It would be good to know if your son's treatment has now been carried out or not, so we can help you if there are any problems still to be sorted out.
