"Amazing hospital!"

I need to start this review by saying the last three weeks have been very stressful having to deal with drs, receptionists, optometrists who quite frankly haven't listened or seemed to have cared! So safe to say I was expecting a whole lot different today at moorfields. I could not have been more wrong. My daughter received the best treatment today she's ever received. Every professional we dealt with today was fantastic!! They all gave me every confidence in what they were doing, they were all very friendly and went out of their way to make my daughter feel at ease, they were just brilliant. The waiting rooms all had pleanty of resources to keep the children entertained and it was all lovely and clean! The playworkers were also really lovely and made the experience just that little less stressful. I had previously read reviews about the long waiting times so wasn't looking forward to that however we were seen 5 minutes early and although we ended up staying for nearly four hours, we didn't seem to wait too long for any one thing. The time we were there was mainly due to how thorough they were, which I certainly won't complain about, I'd rather be there for hours and receive the care we did than be there for a short time just to be half heartedly treated. The longest wait wait we had was for our consultant at the very end, but they were certainly worth the wait. I have honestly never experienced a dr quite like them..they were so warm and lovely to my daughter and couldn't apologise enough for us having to wait. They, again, were so thorough and made sure everything was explained to us properly. They were just fantastic! Overall, I cannot fault moorfields eye hospital, from start to finish everyone we encountered was friendly and professional, the hospital was clean and well kept and I would feel more than happy should we ever need to return that we were receiving the best possible care and treatment!
