My 18 year old son had recently moved to Sheffield to start university and unfortunately had a severe case of tonsilitis. He contacted 111 and they sent an ambulance but also called him back several times to make sure he was ok. Amazing!! He then was admitted to Hallam hospital and after no beds been available he was moved to the urology ward. Which from the moment he got there the member of staff on duty looked after him (wish I knew their name) we his parents were travelling from York in the early hours of the morning. The staff tended to him quickly. The nurse in charge of him the following two days was amazing all the staff looked after him so well. And me offering drinks and food, have to say this would of been a different story if he was in his home town. I would just like to say a massive thank you to the staff that looked after my son, keep up the great work !!!thank you
"Massive thank you"
