I was diagnoised with CLL 3 years ago and from the onset I have always received the best of care.My consultant always puts me at my ease, is very informative about my leukaemia, they are always supportive and allows plenty of time for any questions I may have. I received 6 months chemotherapy with good result. Every 4 weeks I attend unit for immunoglobulin infusion . The nusing staff are wonderful and you never feel like a 'number'. Nomatter how busy the unit is .The reception staff are equally as good and a lot of work goes on behind the sceenes which patients may not realise, so we as a patient receive our treatment in the safest possible way. I only wish that the people who complain about our hospital or the ones who moan about the clinic running slightly late, could spend a half hour on our oncology unit to appreciate the marvalous work the staff do and the enormous difference it makes to our lives. I am so pleased I live in the catchment area of this hospital and thank you all for continuing such excellant service.
