"Day case surgery"

Attended day surgery for breast procedure felt a little bit like an airport boarding when everyone was told to go and queue at the desk when desk at waiting room opened to give your personal details. After that I was seen in various cubicles and thorough checks made on my name procedure etc. which is good. Then I was sent back to original waiting room for 2 hours, not excellent as patients and family who have just come in were also waiting so could have all sorts of germs! however apart from all the above I have to say that my treatment from the porters, healthcare assistant, nurses, staff nurses, anaesthetist and my consultant were first class I couldn't have received better treatment. Also not forgetting the pre-op department too attended a few days before who were so lovely. They were all so kind and caring and would recommend the day surgery department at North Manchester to anyone. Thank you to you all.
