"All of the team looking after me were excellent"

Great unit for day surgery. Was greeted on arrival by the nurse who who would be looking after me during my stay. All of the team looking after me were excellent and kept me fully informed of what was happening and why. I had a brilliant surgeon who had involved me in decision making regards how my surgery could be done. The unit was very clean and staff had genuine care and treated you as an individual and not a number. It was clear they worked well together as a team.

It did feel a little rushed once back on the ward, as after refreshments was dressed and placed in day room for collection. After a general anaesthetic it felt quite quick.
