"Appointment and general admin"

Dentist referred my mum to the maxillo-facial surgery clinic to have a tooth extracted. First dental referral lost by the department. Same referral sent again, department said they did not receive anything. Went down to the department and sure enough they had the referral. Another 4 weeks before getting the appointment which was another 6 weeks away. Phoned asked for an earlier appointment they had one (great I thought), turned up at the department and they had no record of it been rebooked. This has now been going on for 3months,and still haven't seen anyone. Really annoyed.
