What I liked

My admission was swift and efficient and staff in A&E and in MAU were decisive which helped reduce my stress levels

What could be improved

There was one nurse I came into contact with that failed to replace medication, was gruff and lacked respect for patients and my notes were not completed with some medication I was given which could have resulted in double dosing.

I complained about this and I was pleased and reassured that the hospital took this seriously.

This one individual is NOT representative of the staff in the NHS and if anyone else suffers the same I would advise them to inform someone immediately as its not considered acceptable by the hospital.

When I was admitted the MAU was uncomfortably hot.

Anything else?

Only one problem which was dealt with satisfactorily.

Staff were always very busy and efficient looking after the needs of the patients.

All my requests were dealt with swiftly.
