My son-in-law has been admitted several times in the last six weeks to A&E with Grand Mal Seizures which are getting more frequent as time goes on and the response has been good at point of entry, but once admitted into the general hospital the doctors from Neurology who should be seeing him are only communicating with ordinary doctors attending him via the phone. this is supposed to be a state of the art hospital but it is more like a pass the parcel game with no-one working at the hospital willing to ask why the doctors he should be seeing are not coming across the hospital to see him and help him find out why these seizures have suddenly started after 30yrs of no seizures. its like hitting your head off a brick wall you get nowhere in the end and after they send you home after a day or two with no seizure they seem surprised when you get re-admitted to A&E again.
