It is 01.30 in the morning and I am livid. my 4 year old grandson has just been admitted to the childrens ward and put on a drip. He is very distressed and unable to settle but is with both his parents who are trying there best to comfort him.
Apparently the some of the staff are being very unsympathetic to either my grandson or the parents and have insisted only one parent can stay with him.
To say I am appalled at their attitude in this distressing time is an understatement.
Is this typical of our NHS service?
