"modern and clean"

Architecturally interesting modern building, clean, with a nice view over a park, though I gather planning permission is being sought to build on it.

Well served by buses.

Good, though pricey coffee shop door visitors.

I spent 10 weeks here s a patient – most of the nurses are very good though there are two ‘bad apples’.

Speech therapy department good and reliable.

Two problems:

Physiotherapy infrequent and unreliable – maybe understaffed

The chaplain is invisible. There is a multi faith quiet room of which I approve in principle but it is laid out like an old folks’ day room. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved but I don’t know if it is RC, Anglican or what.
