In September 2015 i was transferred to St Thomas's by ambulance from Kent with aortic dissection type A..within 45 minutes of arriving i was being wheeled into theatre for life saving open heart surgery. The care i received during and after was second to none.. i spent just under four weeks in total in hospital..and there will never be enough words to thank my consultant for saving my life (they really did...very few survive aortic dissection type A) ..if you find yourself being admitted to St Thomas's please be rest assured you are safe in this doctor's hands...NHS hang on to them, they're the best.
"Cardiac surgeon the best ever"
