"Endoscopy"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

Want to say a big thankyou to all of the team in the endoscopy unit, i recently had a colonoscopy and they was all absolutely lovely to me. I was very nervous/scared and a little embarressed! i am especially scared when it comes to needles and when they had trouble putting a cannula in for the sedative i normally would of had a breakdown but they held my hand and made it so much easier! They treated me with care, compassion and dignity. Thankyou.

Many thanks for sharing your feedback relating to your recent proceedure in endoscopy. The teams work hard to make what can be a difficult experience as postive as possible. This is acheived through the delivery of person centred care and I am pleased that this was your experience with us. I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the endsosopy team.

I hope you are recoverying well

Kind regards
