All hospitals send copies of clinicians reports to the patients as standard, but not this hospital, you have to grovel on bended knee to get any cooperation or support from departments. Patient privacy and dignity is poor, consultants get involved in matters that are not their concern yet fail to address the reason you attend hospital.Request anything and they want bits of meaningless paper signed to prove you are who you say you, but anyone can sign it as long as it coincides with the electoral register. The food is all sieved as if we have not teeth, which leaves you feeling very hungry even half hour after a meal.
Tea on some wards is so stewed, just topping up the pot with more tea bags and warm water, not sure what the tannin does fro our insides?
The eye clinic and many other clinics are held in sheds attached to the sides of buildings.
Book a timed appointment fro a blood test and expect to wait 90 minutes plus, appointments run way over time, the /NHS thinks we plan our lives around them.
The waiting area is dark and claustrophobic, if indeed you can find anywhere to sit.Would I recommend this hospital to a friend ... you must be joking! This hospital needs some good management, it couldn't organise its way out of the front door!
"Rubbish service that makes a patients life hell!"
