(as the patient),

I first went to the doctor 10 years ago with prostate problems and he just gave me tablets. I recently changed doctors and he sent me to the hospital. When I went to the hospital the consultant got up, shook my hand and said that he should have seen me 10 years ago.

They were going to operate but they did a scan and found that the cancer had burst and spread to three places, including my spine. I now go regularly for injections and I have nothing but praise for all re, staff I have met.

10 years ago when I visited a specialist they had a cup of coffee and a chocolate orange and he never once looked up from his notes I had the shock of my life this time round! The specialist is a gentleman and always shakes my hand; he is very friendly and polite. I also go to Wath for my blood and they are very good as well.
