"Urology - my experience of surgery"

I returned home this afternoon from a week's experience of surgery at Warwick Hospital.

In all respects, the experience was a good one.

First class attention, professionalism and knowledge from the Consultant Urological surgeon gave me a lot of confidence and the subsequent post-operative care from the Intensive Treatment Unit team was exemplary and very reassuring.

Care on the ward thereafter was also first class.

I was treated with much empathy throughout my stay which made me feel important as a patient, not just a task to complete. The hospital was clean everywhere I went and the food excellent.
