I have Ulcerative Colitis and I was referred to this hospital when I was 15 years old because King's Mill didn't have any paediatric gastroenterologists at the time. The treatment I received was excellent however soon after I became an outpatient, it started to falter. The last visit was the 25th March 2015 and that was for a colonoscopy, I was supposed to have a follow up appointment after but that never happened, now I've had to make one myself for the 25th October 2016 (yet more waiting!) and I'm sorry to say that I will be transferring my care and treatment back to King's Mill as my sister has recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and has been seen to, diagnosed, MRI done, had her bowel scanned and now has started treatment. I'm very upset that I have been ignored for this length of time
